Learn to Skate Program
For anyone aged 3 - 15 who wants to learn how to skate! Our program provides a great foundation for skaters and gives them the skills for all ice sports.

Session Format:
10m Supervised Group Warm-Up
30m Group Lesson with a Professional Coach
10m Supervised Group Cool-Down
Intro to Figure Skating Program
Specifically designed to create a strong foundation in the sport of Figure Skating. This is a 2-day/week program is aimed at skaters aged 4 - 9 and requires figure skates to participate.

Session Format:
30m Off-Ice Class
50m On-Ice Group Lessons

STAR & Podium Pathway Programming

All on-ice and off-ice classes are included in the ice fees for all levels.

STAR Pathway: Bronze/Silver/Gold Programs

The Bronze, Silver & Gold programs at RTC include off-ice classes, on-ice group classes, spin & figure patches. We offer four Bronze/Silver and six Gold programs each week. Each day will follow a similar schedule but offer different classes with the goal of developing a well rounded athlete.

We have a minimum requirement of 2 days/week for STAR pathway programs but to get the full benefits of our program, we recommend the following:

Bronze/Silver - 3 - 4 days/week

Gold - 3 - 5 days/week

Podium Pathway: Bronze+, Silver+, Gold+ & Elite+

The Podium Pathway programs at RTC offer competitive skaters everything they need to excel in our sport. The On-Ice Group Classes focus on developing skating skills & performance and the off-ice classes focus on developing and instilling the importance of fitness, jump, dance and recovery.

As competitive skating requires a high level of commitment and training time to develop the necessary skills to perform at a high performance level, Podium Pathway Programs are for the skater who is pursuing competitive skating and training 5-6 days/week.

Active For Life

RTC offers sessions for those who want to experience the joy of skating without the commitment to assessments or competitions. These sessions are ice-time only sessions and do not include any off-ice or on-ice group classes.

To complete your registration, you must:
1. Create a Parent/Guardian Account and add Skater Profiles for each skater in your family.
2. Choose your programs and add them to your Shopping Cart
3. Review Shopping Cart to ensure accuracy (Any available discounts will automatically be applied to qualifying invoices)
4. Read and accept Policies
5. Confirm & Pay Online via Credit Card or Confirm & choose ***Offline Payment Method to pay in-person by cash or cheque.

***Offline Payment Methods***
- Please Note: If you have chosen an offline payment option, you must visit our office to submit your payment before stepping on the ice for your first session.
- Skating privileges will be suspended until payment is received

*Please note that if our system detects more than 30 minutes of inactivity in your browser, your registration spots will no longer be reserved and you will need to begin again.*
